Blokhin was awarded the Order of Yaroslav the Wise II degree

Famous former footballer and coach Oleg Blokhin was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise II degree.

The award ceremony was held at the Football House, and the award was presented by the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vadym Gutzeit. Attended the ceremony and the President pin up Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko.

“High award for one of Ukraine’s brightest football talents. This is a great opportunity to remember the memorable pages that Oleg Vladimirovich wrote in the football history of our country as a player and as a coach of the national team of Ukraine.Thanks to Oleg Blokhin for his dedication to the game and the historic victories of Ukrainian football in the international arena,” Pavelko quoted him as saying UAF official website.

Note that the Order of Yaroslav the Wise is awarded for outstanding personal services to the Ukrainian state.
